George Ralston is the Founding Member and Manager of EPCI Solutions, providing service to the Oil, Gas and Renewable Engery Industries.
AboutGeorge Ralston (doing business as EPCI Solutions) is the manager of the business, with over 35 years' experience in the Marine, Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas Industries, focusing on Project Management, Contract Management, and Engineering. His current focus is Renewable Energy Projects, comprising Offshore Wind and Energy Storage, including Hydrogen.
After graduating in Electrical Engineering, he completed post graduate courses in Industrial Power Plant Engineering and Industrial Law - similar to the OSHA / HSSE requirements today. He completed electrical installations ship newbuilds and repairs before entering a Marine Engineering Consultancy, where he specialized ship propulsion systems and electromagnetic engineering. He later worked in refinery modernization projects, before moving back to marine consultancy, where he designed and installed electrical and instrumentation systems for ship newbuilds and modernizations. He later managed works in chemical plants, where he served as Technical Advisor for large Ethane and LNG Projects. He has worked across all project phases, from Project Development, through Project Executions and final delivery, and has been involved with projects from some of the world's leading oil exploration, production and oil field service companies. He now provides Project Management, Contract Management and Technical advice to large organizations, to optimize projects and mitigate costs and risks associated with large electrical and instrumentation control system installations. |
